Lending of Items
All town residents can obtain a free library card
A person is considered a resident if he or she owns or lives in a property that is subject to municipal property tax. Cards are available to non-residents for a fee of $35 per year. Persons under 18 and full-time students who are not residents can obtain a free library card. Seasonal residents who live within the town for at least three months of the year can obtain a library card for a fee of $15 per year.
Books and CDs can be borrowed for a period of three weeks. Movie DVDs can be borrowed for two days. TV Series DVDS and Educational DVDs can be borrowed for one week. All reference books can be borrowed overnight. Renewals are possible for all materials except certain Interlibrary loans. Items can only be renewed twice.
